As a keep-to-himself sort of kid, Nathan doesn't expect many friends, and he really doesn't want any. A select person or two for support, maybe, but in his eyes, he's found his "one true friend", and now that friend is dead. Because of this, Nathan has shut off his options, and refuses to allow himself to make friends. Sure, maybe he can endure people, or find them likeable, but they won't be his friends, at least not in his eyes. What they think, of course, may be an entirely different story.

Nathan is a virgin, and plans to stay that way. Though he's bisexual, he's afraid of being touched, and considers his sexual preference to be "in romance only". If he found a person that he could trust, then he might eventually let them get close, but until then the world needs to stay at least two feet away at all times.

♠ enemies: [/color][/font][/i]

Though Nathan doesn't always realize it, he seems to attract a lot of these. In a school dominated by the popular students, the quiet boy always seems to draw the attention of bullies, when he's noticed at all. These, of course, are his more obvious foes, but more subtle are the ones that don't realize he hates them. The loud class clowns, the people who ignore him, the ones who insist that his religion isn't real: All of them are on his blacklist, whether they know it or not. And, of course, if anyone so much as brushes against him, they'll be dead to him (though he has learned to give a small bit of leniency if it was obviously an accident).

Aside from the three extremes listed above, Nathan is relatively apathetic about most other people. The only person he truly cared for is now dead, and because of this, he feels no reason to connect to any other person. If they make the effort, he may indulge them, but otherwise he prefers to drift along, going through life alone.

<.< i went and read his music preferences and haha...to say the least cam cam has a baaaddddd obsession with lord of the rings. and when i saw that he liked the music...oh god. if she heard him listening to it(cause she's listened to the soundtrack AND watched the movie AND read the book a loooot) she wouldn't leave him alone. she's really cute and childish and she's adorable really but yeah she'd want to be nathan's friend after that for sure xD. she's also a freshman so they'd have some classes together<3

charlie is really sweet and she cares a lot about people. she loves to play trains, make snow angels and dance in the rain. if anything she'd want to be big friends with nathan and i don't know why but i see her crushing on him and well yeah...i just see that. she wouldn't say anything though cause she'd want to be his friend and if he turned her down she'd be sad or if he didn't turn her down she wouldn't realize that he wasn't actually her friend because she's kind of naive about some things.(her uncle james leroy was also a serial killer...and is in jail so yeah that's not important but she gets a bit upset when it's mentioned sometimes)

hmm connor i don't see anything really with these two. cause he's nice and sportsy but usually too busy for friends with all his sports but he'll say hi to him in the hall and things.

hannah may be a popular but she's extremely sweet and caring and far from a bitch. however she can come off as conceited and well she just shrugs cause she doesn't expect everyone to like her but she wouldn't try to pick a fight or anything. though if one was brought to her she knows what to do, she's not an idiot or anything. but between them, she'd just say hi and wave because that's who she is.

aww well lisa has had so much pain because she had an older sister who killed everyone she cared about(she didn't know who was doing it till recently when she was caught) so even though her sister's in prison with like five life sentences and she's adopted once again and oves her family. well she's still sad and tries not to make so many friends. she has the select few people here she talks to. her sister, and all her cousins and stella as well as anyone on the chat though she tries not to meet up with anyone she doesn't know in fear of getting close and her sister getting out/: so again nothing major

maddix<3 he's a loner toooo. he only converses to his family and his girlfriend. really he can come off like an asshole to everyone else cause he kind of can be. he's a bit of a mix of his mother, amanda and his father connor. it's quite an interesting mix actually. so i don't know really. he avoids most people unless they talk to him and even then he's kind of bitchy.

RAY. she's like extremely happy but also easily scared and sad inside. she cuts to make the bad thoughts go away...(bad thoughs are usually thoughts of screaming or punching nothing major but to her she's afraid she'll be like the bad person that was in her mom..she had mpd) but yeah...she seems happy and giddy cause usually she is but she hides quite often usually in the gardens or under her bed..

tuomas<3 he's the photography teacher from finland(who also speaks russian, english, spanish and french fluently). but yeah he's pretty quiet and not really a talkative person but he does spout random bits of knowledge here and there cause he's very factual...i'm not sure anything between these two cause yeah xD unless nathan took his class and even still i'm not sure.

Ha, that's awesooooome. Well, he hums when he's sketching, so maybe he could be sketching at a park or something and she walks by and hears it? Because otherwise he's not one for playing his music too loud. And odds are he'd be annoyed by her at first, but he'd probably be glad to have a familiar face in some classes.

This could be interesting. xP I like the idea of her crushing on him, and I almost want him to feel the same back, but I'm not sure. Maybe he thinks the feeling is just friendship, since he doesn't have much experience with being friends with people? I really want his first crush to be on a straight guy, because it would be interesting character development, but maybe he could get shot down and come back to her for support? He would want to be friends with her once he realized she was a genuinely caring person, and not just acting so people would like her.

lololol Anywho, Adele is a bad girl, yes. Innocence was lost in childhood, so anyone innocent would obviously attract a lot of attention from her. If Nathan only wanted touching during love, Adele would find that SUPER odd. Not to mention if he is quite, Adele would always poke and prod him to get a reaction. She would do everything in her power to forge feelings, just to get a reaction. So basically, she would be using him. SO THIS IS WHERE THE BIG PLOT COMES IN. Maybe Adele will do her best to cause a love connection between the two, make Nathan thinks that she really loves him, just enough so that he loves her back. From that point, after she got what she wanted, Adele would book it and leave it. (Cue Duh-duh-duhhh) But if you like the plot thus far, Adele might actually have feelings for the poor boy; and she would at first be super angry about this. Only because she has never had feelings before, and it to her its scary! Sooo {Love/hate/sub/add}

I was thinking maybe Rian would attempt becoming friends with him, since Rian is a friendly guy who loves to make people smile. He would try, even if Nathan willl have none of it. So perhaps after being rejected over and over again, Rian is close to giving up, but then Nathan finds out that Rians best friend is dyeing (his Granny) and they bond? Maybe it takes awhile at first, but works its way up? Or Nathan just gets more irritated with Rian xD
