The day had went okay so far. She ate, didn't throw up and took a quick walk. She knew she was going on a picnic with Liam and Aura so she was staying sober, cigarette and drug free. Standing in front of the mirror, she finished her hair and pulled over a black loose shirt, jeans and slipped on dark shoes. Pulling on a gold locket heart necklace she closed it and looked into the mirror.
Selena thought back to before she got pregnant or had Aura. They were so happy. People would talk about how they were going to last forever. Eventually, reality struck and Aura was born. Her mind kept thinking back, the sleepovers, sex, late night phone conversations, and spending time together like normal, happy couples. Now they didn't talk that much. It was awkward and uncomfortable. She was rarely sober in the right state of mind. So it was rare when she saw Aura.
Selena knew the park wasn't that far so she just walked. When she saw her brunette haired daughter she smiled, seeing Liam, her stomach dropped to the floor. Walking over she sat down and smiled "hi"
