To be honest, he loved playing guitar. He just never had that chance to do so, that changed when the club offered him a spot on a slow night to play. He loved it, a chance to play for people, live people was too good to pass up. A pair of old jeans, and a black t-shirt, his guitar and his pick was all he needed. He set up his microphone, and pulled up a stool.
He knew a lot of songs, and he was gonna play just a few. He plucked some strings, making sure it was in tune, before starting his first song. "I want to drink from your cup of sorrow, I want to bathe in your holy blood." The song had a distinctively country twang to it, and he loved it. He was playing, when that beautiful girl walked in, and instantly he was singing to her.

evelyn galvign, loved to have a good time, but she also knew how to balance. she had been acing her tests and such lately so she had been treating herself to fun. plus, she worked a lot in the ball room her voice catering to the people that came to have drinks, enjoy live music, and stay on campus. riverside was a impressive place though some of the people here were extremely cruel in her opinion? whatever..tonight she was out at the teen scene to have a good time. she smiled after entering seeing that familiar face. ryan the quarterback was what she knew him as because well thats how he introduced himself in a sense. she made her way through the crowd slightly moving to the music he was making. she could appreciate it! she loved to sing, and he had a nice set of lungs on him. it was an expression for a good voice!
evelyn had yet to stop smiling as she admired his singing and she tucked some hair behind her ears looking around her. was he looking at her as he was singing. she blushed unsure if she was being conceited or if he really was looking at her it was sweet!

With a couple more minutes of playing, he finished. Ryan unstrapped his guitar, and placed it down on the stage. She was a beautiful girl, but she looked young, 'No matter' he thought, 'I live to break the rules'. With a quick couple of steps, he closed to gap that was between them. She was so gorgeous, it blew his mind that she appeared to be happy with his singing.
He never sang to get people to like him, he basically played because it made him feel at home again. He wanted to be that entertainment that people enjoyed, but he wasn't dying to do so. He was face to beautiful face with her now, before saying, "Sorry to ruin your night with that" with a chuckle. He could say one thing. A red dress and black heels looked amazing on her, but they would look even better off of her.

the girl suddenly felt maybe a tad overdressed in a red dress and heels as the boy came off the stage people clapping for him. it was well deserved heck she even clapped! if you had talent why not show it? he was good she wasn't going to deny that. her passion was music so listening to him and his words and the style of the song she couldn't help but keep the smile up. she was from texas and well it would be odd and a bit of a stereotype to say she liked the country style music, because of the state, but she had grown up on a farm, so she had grown up around it and really learned to have a love for it!
the distance between the two now wasn't the stage, guitar, and a crowd it was short and she had managed to stop blushing thank goodness! "ruin my night?" she questioned shaking her head. "don't be modest that was good" she said kind of smirking at him yeah it wasn't silly it was modest in her opinion. "jack of all trades aren't you any other tricks i should know about you're a slight flirt, you play football, and now you sing" she threw what she knew out there wanting to see if the list added up and what more to add.

Ryan had respect for women, a passion imprinted on him by his mother. He didn't mistreat them, and tried to be a gentleman anytime he could. Sometimes he couldn't stand parties for that reason, boys treated it as a way to get laid, and he couldn't handle that. She seemed to be a nice enough girl, so he was going to be a nice enough boy, until the situation dictated otherwise.
She was more beautiful the closer he got to her. He could see her smiling at him, and he laughed as she complimented him. He had other talents, but those would come with time. "Well, I love acting, dancing, and singing, but football is my passion. The chance to take that field every week, and lead a team, but sadly, I dont get the girls like you" he said with a slightly nervous laugh.

the boy from what she had seen had been nice. though he had asked to take body shots off of her at a party, but it was a party and it was fun and they were both half naked anyways she really didn't see the harm in it. eve had respect for herself, but she knew when fun was permitted as well. this meant she wasn't out having sex with each and every person she saw. then she would be a plastic and not really known as popular? she was only popular because she had money well thus far, but she'd become more popular when people got to know her because she was loud yet nice?
the girl grinned a little as he listed things he liked. he was passionate yet active in a few different things. variety was nice. it meant he wasn't the typical jock with the big head? though that was a stereotype. "variety" she threw out there in a complimenting tone. "football is very big back home" she said at random throwing it out there. "girls like me?" she questioned sweetly with a smile. "you barely know me...what do you mean?" she asked biting her lip she was curious she hadn't meant it in a negative way by any means.

He never had a serious relationship. Never a long one anyway. His soirees were destined to end sooner rather than later, which to him was fine, but he would've loved to found that girl that completed him, but he consigned himself to the fact that she probably didn't exist. He'd had the occasional flame, but nothing worthy of any note.
Ryan could see that his thoughts about her went over her head. She seemed puzzled, and curious, so he tried to explain, "Remember, i'm a quarterback. Most of the people that I deal with judge me and who I am based on how my last game was. Bad, and it was my fault, and they hate me" he paused, ordering a drink from the bartender. "But you, you seem like you're a fun girl, that wont judge me, Plus, you're a gorgeous girl." with a small laugh.

evee, was just the kind of girl that went with the flow if she found a nice guy and the two hit it off she'd be more than happy, but she was young still, and didn't want to have any high hopes just to be shot down. it was just the way her mind worked. though she did notice guys. what girl her age didn't? she just wasn't overly obsessed! yeah that was the right way to put it. she listened to what he had to say yeah people could be very judgmental, but at the same time he was in a new place..it was a boarding school yeah they were judgmental here, but if you got to know a person well they just might surprise you.
"Remember mister quarterback new town new rules" she said not sure they had changed, but he hadn't been here long he needed to open up to more people and surely he'd fit in just fine. she couldn't help but blush again. "if i didn't know any better i'd think you're hitting on me." she said and she pulled out some money getting a water. it'd be nice to have. "after your drink you say you like dancing..." she said trailing off taking a drink of her water letting that spell it out for him. "oh and thanks you're rather handsome" she added slightly glancing down blushing a little more at the gorgeous comment.

Sometimes Ryan questioned himself, but not now. He was thinking with full clarity. He thought back to all those girls he'd had in school. So many, yet with them, he accomplished so little. This was going to be a different story. She was a bombshell, and he needed a good night out....or maybe a good night at her house.
He was hitting on her, that was the way he was. She had spoken about dancing, and Ryan laughed. "Well, I can dance any style, but I mostly do swing dancing, and this probably isn't the place to do that" with a beaming smile. "and who knows, maybe I am hitting on you..maybe I want to surround myself with the most beautiful girls in this place." A silver tongue helped in a time like this.

the girl had one boyfriend her whole life. she started partying early though and she wasn't that old. some would call her morals crap and she could understand that, but then the person needed to get to know her better to understand her. she also had some experience with females, but she didn't let guys know that while the typical male would love it well most typical males some guys didn't plus she wasn't the most talkative person in the world at first. she talked but to open up to people it took time. she couldn't tell her life story in a day.
the girl looked out to the dance floor with teens among it and then back at ryan and she shook her head. "i think you'd stand out trying to swing dance here, but by all means if you want to" she joked. she didn't say she'd join in but hey what was swing dancing with just one person. it'd be kind of funny no? if they did it for a little bit. when he called her beautiful she kind of glanced down again. "thank you" she said in a kind of bashful tone

Ryan was never one to be all talk, he loved, and lived every moment to its fullest. He knew that you only have a few moments on this earth, so you had to plan what each of them would be. He loved messing with people, but in a nice way, not an "Im just gonna fuck with you kinda way". He could deal with the occasional lapse in judgement on his part, but mostly he did what he thought was right.
He looked out at the dance floor, and pointed out, "Yeah, I think you're right" as he looked down at his feet. You couldn't dance to the music style he played, but right now his mind was focused on another physical act. "I need to stop beating around the bush, why dont you have a boyfriend? You're amazing.

being that this was the second time she had actually ever seen ryan well it was rather nice it meant something to her to meet people and keep them in and be able to hang out with them? she glanced about to see if she knew anyone else here, but he was the only one and it wasn’t a bad thing it was actually nice hanging out one on one.
evee just let out a small chuckle at him saying he thought she was right about the whole swing dance. ”its okay maybe you can show me your moves some other time?” she asked meaning the swing dancing. what was the harm in hanging out again he was so sweet. then she raised a brow at the question and smiled. ”i don’t know” she said with a shrug. ”why don’t you have a girlfriend?” she asked twisting the tables on him.

Girls didn't factor into the plan at all for him. He was focused on winning everything this year threw at him. He was going to have flings, that was just natural, but if anything more happened, it was just lucky. Ryan wasn't actively seeking sex all the time...but before each football game he tried to sleep with a different girl, not because he was a manwhore, he wasn't. He did it because it helped him to relieve stress, and if he slept with the same girl, it might cause relationship problems.
He laughed at her comment about the dancing. She was right, it was probably dumb of him to ask, but he did. "Yeah, maybe some other time" he said, laughing. He took a drink of his newly arrived beverage, as he thought of an answer for her. "I dont have a girlfriend because body shots taste better when you're single." he said with obvious sarcasm. "To be honest, I havent found that girl that gives me a chance. Im much more than just a quarterback, I want to be that perfect person, to someone."

The whole dating thing was nice. She had been on dates before and had a relationship it was nice..he cheated she took him back it ended and she was single. She wasn’t out looking but if it happened it happened. She was allowing herself to have fun for now. The girl was by no means a slut but she did enjoy indulging in sexual acts from time to time. Sometimes it was just easier than being tied down...she had some trust issues? Though she knew not every guy was the same.
”I’ll count on it.” she said leaving it at that taking a sip of her water and looked out to the crowd watching the movements and the rhythm. Dancing was fun, but it really had become something else these days. When he spoke again she turned back. ”Depends on how hot the person you’re taking them off of are” she said pointing that out even though she knew it was sarcasm. ”Well, get to know some girls I’m sure they’d be happy to you’re a total sweetheart” she said trying to not be narcissistic.

One of the last girlfriends Ryan had left him because he didn't spend enough time with her. He didn't, but it wasn't because he had other things to do, he was just focused on football, and she didn't understand that. It was a couple of nights before homecoming, and ryan hadn't asked her yet. She freaked out, and left him. He won Homecoming king, she left the dance crying. He would never say he took pleasure in it, but it was what it was.
Eve was a very funny girl, sexy and funny. She seemed to be perfect, but Ryan wasn't going to left that happen to him. He was content with where they were at. He chuckled at her remark, "Or if they're like you, it makes the shot all the sweeter" he said with a slight wink. He had never been described as a total sweet heart before, but he rolled with it, "I've never had a girlfriend last over like a month, to be honest"
